Our Story
Scratch Creative was founded in 2020 by Ben Lofthouse and Aidan Broddell, driven by a shared frustration with slow, bloated agency models. They set out to build something better. A studio that delivers ideas and brings them to life with precision, speed and craft.
Today, Scratch is one of the UK’s most progressive design and production studios. In 2025, we delivered more than 75 projects across 14 countries, creating high impact environments, activations and experiences for leading global brands.
We work senior led, fast and focused, without the unnecessary layers that waste time and budget. Clients get big agency quality with boutique studio attention and better value where it counts.

The Founders
Ben Lofthouse brings extensive experience from the world of large-scale and high-profile public events and brand experience projects, combining creative vision with a deep understanding of logistics, design and international delivery. His approach blends aesthetic sensitivity with an obsession for detail and atmosphere.
Aidan Broddell draws from a background in high-end commercial construction and luxury developments, having led major hotel builds and premium property renovations. His technical expertise ensures that every creative concept is backed by structure, precision and flawless delivery.
Together, Ben and Aidan lead a studio that thrives on pushing boundaries and redefining how brands engage with physical space.
